4 Easy Voting Steps to Follow

1. Register before your state's deadline

   •  Find out if you're already registered.

   • If you're not registered, check out this table to determine if you live in one of the 40 states that offers online voter registration. 

   • Register by mail.

   • Register in-person at any of the following

     1. Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) 

     2. State election offices

     3. Armed service recruitment centers

2. Determine if you will vote by mail (absentee ballot), early or in person on Election Day

3. Confirm your polling place if you vote in-person and bring identification (if needed).
